The Récré’Yoga Method
French Federation of Children’s Yoga
Récré’Yoga is a playful approach that introduces children to yoga through games and creativity.
At first, play is the main focus of the class (around one hour), then progressively gives way to more traditional yoga practice, fostering deeper concentration and inner calm.
This method helps children grow into adults who are aware of their bodies, emotions, and thoughts.
It includes:
-
The fundamental principles of yoga (postures, breathing, relaxation, meditation, and lifestyle ethics)
-
A progressive structure where play gently introduces yogic concepts
-
A caring and respectful environment that nurtures concentration, emotional regulation, and self-confidence
This unique approach offers children powerful tools for long-term well-being and personal growth.
