Prenatal yoga is a tailored practice that supports women throughout their pregnancy, caring for their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
This 75-hour Yoga Alliance certified training offers an authentic and comprehensive approach to teaching prenatal yoga.
You will gain a clear understanding of the physiological changes of pregnancy and learn how to use yoga as a supportive tool throughout the journey to motherhood.
Upon completion of the training, you will receive your Yoga Alliance 95h certification.
Who is this training for?
This course is designed for certified yoga teachers, experienced practitioners, and anyone wishing to support pregnant women through a gentle, nurturing and safe yoga practice.
We welcome a small and intimate group (maximum 12 participants) to ensure high-quality, personalised guidance and support.
Prerequisites:

A regular yoga practice with a teacher for at least one year

A 200h yoga teacher certification (or medical background such as midwife, gynaecologist, etc.)

Our training is structured around four core modules, each carefully designed to give you a deep and comprehensive understanding of prenatal yoga, while preparing you to teach with confidence, respect and warmth:

Prenatal Yoga Foundations
Understand the specific needs of pregnancy and the safety principles essential to prenatal yoga. Learn how to adapt your teaching to support pregnant women with both traditional and contemporary approaches. -
Asana & Pranayama Practice
Explore specific posture modifications that offer comfort and stability during pregnancy. Learn to guide safe movement, breathwork (pranayama), and relaxation practices to calm the body and mind throughout the trimesters. -
Anatomy & Physiology of Pregnancy
An in-depth look at the anatomical and physiological changes during pregnancy, to support your students more effectively and with greater awareness. -
Pedagogy & Teaching Ethics
Develop the teaching skills needed to create safe and supportive classes. Learn how to adapt your approach for different stages of pregnancy and how to respond to the emotional and physical needs of each student.

10h of hands-on teaching, assisting and real-life scenarios to guide pregnant women in group settings
Your Mentor
Students are guided by Julie Giacomini, an experienced yogi master and teacher trainer. A comprehensive training manual is provided. Throughout the course, a thesis and final exam will validate your learning, with weekly assignments helping you build your reflection and integration of the teachings.

The total cost of the training is €950, divided into 2 modules of €475.
Our yoga teacher trainings may be eligible for professional development grants. As a registered professional training centre, we can provide all necessary documents to support funding applications.

Independent Modules
Our trainings are designed to adapt to your availability. Thanks to a system of independent modules, you can start at any time of the year and build your learning path at your own pace.
Single block or spread out
Each week introduces a new module, allowing for steady and flexible progression. Trainings are delivered in blocks of 2 to 6 modules, depending on the theme, and can be followed continuously or over multiple sessions.
On-site at the Ashram
You can attend all of our trainings directly at the Ashram, in full immersion.
We welcome a maximum of 12 participants per training, with no minimum required. This means the teaching may also be offered as a one-on-one session, giving you the opportunity for fully personalized guidance.
Online, direct streaming
All our trainings are also available live and remotely through the Jitsi application.
You participate under the same conditions as those attending on-site.
